Election draws seniors to the polls
November 6, 2007
A steady stream of citizens came
out to vote for their candidates of choice throughout the day
Tuesday. By mid-afternoon, election officials were
predicting an above-average turnout for the day. Voters
got to choose among incumbents and challengers for four
contested Rockbridge County Board of Supervisors' seats and the
sheriff's race. Major issues that have been generating
interest in local elections include county rezoning/land use,
and taxes.
